One of the benefits of being an ARRL Affiliated Club is a commission for recruiting new ARRL members and securing timely ARRL member renewals. All membership dues are sent to ARRL to be processed and the club receives a commission payment directly from ARRL
Each new ARRL member earns the club a $15.00 commission. New members are defined as never having been a member or a returning member that has not been a member for two years. Each renewal now earns the club a $5.00 commission.
- Clubs retain $15 for each new membership OR lapsed membership (of two years or more). A NEW MEMBER is defined as any individual who has never been a member of ARRL or any individual who has not retained a membership for two or more calendar years prior to the application submission.
- Clubs retain $5 for each renewal. A RENEWING MEMBER can renew at anytime, even before their current membership term expires.
You can download the ARRL Affiliated Club Membership form here and a Club Commission Reconciliation form here. Both forms are submitted together
Once downloaded, complete the form and get it to the club Treasurer along with a check made out to ‘American Legion post 315 Amateur Radio Club’ and we will submit your ARRL membership application/renewal to ARRL Headquarters.
